The Villa Agency celebrates its 40th year in 2024 and we are one of the few remaining, independent and family run, villa rental companies. Unlike many other rental platforms, our philosophy has always been to go that extra mile. We offer a knowledgeable, friendly and personalised service which, we believe in our fast tech world, is all too rare these days. We think you should always be able to speak to an actual person when contacting us and this will never change. Our small team take the time to build relationships with both our partners and clients alike. We have owners, suppliers, travel agents and travellers who have remained with us since the company was formed in 1984 and the number of guests who book with us year after year, along with the glowing 5-star reviews we receive on Trustpilot, is testament to our attentive approach.

- We are fully bonded and have both ATOL and ABTOT licenses giving our clients complete, financial peace of mind.
- Our team gain first-hand knowledge by regularly visiting the properties and destinations we feature.
- We have a sales office rather than remote workers and find many of our clients and suppliers like to speak to us on the telephone rather than by email. The office is open 6 days a week from 10am – 6pm (Mon – Fri) and 10am – 1pm (Saturdays).
- We respond to emails 7 days a week and also in the evenings.
- We can package holidays with cars and flights and can arrange taxi transfers and any special requests our clients may have. Nothing is too much trouble.
- We work closely with high street and online travel agents, both in the UK and overseas giving us an unlimited reach.
- We prefer to work directly with the villa owner’s appointed manager rather than employing local reps as we firmly believe that they are more familiar with each property and have a more detailed, hands-on approach. If you have not appointed a house manager, we are happy to make an introduction as we have a network of trusted house managers in all destinations.
- We ask the villa manager to contact our clients on arrival to ensure a smooth start to their holiday and we provide our clients with the local manager’s telephone number just in case they need a little assistance during their stay. We also ask managers for an out of hours emergency number for office use only.
- We provide our clients with a 24-hour UK emergency number which is manned by a member of our staff throughout the season.
