The Olive Oil Museum

Perhaps not an expected addition to a list of the best restaurants on Brac, the Olive Oil Museum ‘Muzej Uja’ is nonetheless a worthy inclusion, combining high-quality ingredients with an opportunity to learn about the island’s history. Still family-run, the establishment was meticulously refurbished into both a museum and a dining venue, where visitors can take a tour of the facility while enjoying a tasting menu featuring, of course, homemade olive oil, along with tapenade, bread, cheese, marmalade, and chutneys – all served by the friendliest staff. Whilst not an evening dining venue, this is truly an experience rather than just a meal out.
