The Olive Oil Museum

Perhaps not an expected addition to a list of the best restaurants on Brac, the Olive Oil Museum ‘Muzej Uja’ is nonetheless a worthy inclusion, combining high-quality ingredients with an opportunity to learn about the island’s history. Still family-run, the establishment was meticulously refurbished into both a museum and a dining venue, where visitors can take a tour of the facility while enjoying a tasting menu featuring, of course, homemade olive oil, along with tapenade, bread, cheese, marmalade, and chutneys – all served by the friendliest staff. Whilst not an evening dining venue, this is truly an experience rather than just a meal out. Konobo Kapacina

Opened in 2000, Konobo Kapacina has been serving hungry guests for more than 20 years, consistently offering delicious food that lives up to the excellent reputation it has built. With much of the produce served lovingly grown on the owners family farm, the menu is seasonal with a farm-to-table vibe. Located right on the harbour next to the ferry dock from Split, Restaurant Palute is excellently situated, but it also offers one of the best dining experiences in Supetar, in a lively setting, with tables overlooking the harbour and sea. The irresistible aromas of food cooking inside make it hard to walk by without stopping, and patrons will not be disappointed – a variety of dishes are served promptly by friendly, accommodating staff.
