Maisie is a sweet, countryside villa on the outskirts of the old town of Pollensa. Despite its proximity to the town, it is a rural setting, surrounded by lush nature, farmland and gently sloping hills in the background, so you are more likely to hear the odd farm animal than the hustle and bustle of village life.
The lovely garden frames the pool terrace with established plants and there is also a shaded outdoor dining area. Inside, the house is decorated in a traditional Mallorcan style with wooden furniture, Spanish dishes and colourful paintings on the wall. The decor is white complemented with the terracotta floor tiles.
This property is ideal for those wanting to be within walking distance of the town as it is only 950m from the Plaza Mayor of Pollensa. The old town of Pollensa has historical buildings (notably the staircase of 365 steps that leads to the hermitage of Calvario), as well as a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Furthermore, Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente, with their beautiful beaches, are also just a short drive away. Sea lovers will enjoy its warm and calm waters which are also perfect for water sports.
As the centre of Pollensa is about a 15 minute walk where there are lots of restaurants to choose from, although it should be noted that the nearest supermarket is about a 20 minute walk.

Things we love
"We particularly love the traditional Mallorcan fincas with stone walls, wooden beams and bags of charm, often with a mountain backdrop across vibrant green valleys. The scenery is quite something."
Things to be aware of
"Away from the main, tourist areas there are some stunning and secluded beaches just off the beaten track which are well worth exploring but, remember, not all of them will have facilities so make sure you pack provisions like water and snacks just in case."
