Villa Peta is a very sweet, traditional Majorcan house situated in the beautiful area of Boquer. This semi-detached property has been lovingly restored retaining much of its charm and original features. The mountains, synonymous with Mallorca, create a dramatic backdrop and, with Puerta Pollensa just a 20 minute walk away, this is a perfect choice for those wanting to enjoy the stunning countryside whilst being within easy reach of restaurants, bars and shops.
The villa has thick, stone walls, high beamed ceilings and original tiled floors. There is some lovely antique, Mallorcan furniture throughout the house with a rustic living/dining room, traditional style kitchen and cosy bedrooms which are situated on the first floor.
Double doors lead out from the kitchen to the barbecue area and exterior terraces with views of the mountains beyond. There is a bathroom near the barbecue with exterior access only. The garden and pool are well designed wth stone terraces and established planting surrounding a rectangular pool. The views from the pool area are amazing, overlooking the whole resort of Port de Pollensa.
Villa Peta is a god base for those who enjoy walking, bird watching and cycling with so much natural beauty nearby. Whatsmore, there is a trekking/trail running circuit of 310 metres just next to the house for those who want to stay fit and enjoy nature.
Pollensa Old Town is a 10 minute drive away and well worth a visit with its cobbled streets, boutique shops and a range of restaurants. We recommend walking the Calvari steps - all 365 of them! You will be rewarded with spectacular views!

Things we love
"We particularly love the traditional Mallorcan fincas with stone walls, wooden beams and bags of charm, often with a mountain backdrop across vibrant green valleys. The scenery is quite something."
Things to be aware of
"Away from the main, tourist areas there are some stunning and secluded beaches just off the beaten track which are well worth exploring but, remember, not all of them will have facilities so make sure you pack provisions like water and snacks just in case."
