This bright and spacious villa is set in a small village, just a short drive from the Roman riverside town of Ponte de Lima and the nearby town of Paredes de Coura, making it an ideal base for exploring the unspoilt Minho region.

The main house, which dates back to the 17th century, has been cleverly extended with the addition of three ensuite bedrooms with direct access to the pool and views over the valley beyond. There is a pretty courtyard with an additional cottage which has two bedrooms, each with its own entrance, offering flexible accommodation for larger families or groups of friends.

Outside, the well maintained large and enclosed garden has various areas to explore and includes several fruit trees including chestnut, orange and cherry trees, laid out on different levels leading down to the swimming pool. There is also a charming children's play area perfect to keep the little ones happy.

A well equipped kitchen and barbecue area has all you need to rustle up an alfresco feast. There is also a games room with table tennis, table football and a pool table for guests use, perfect to keep everyone entertained.

The swimming pool is surrounded by a lovely garden, with a poolside shower.

A couple of steps lead up to the bedroom wing: 3 twin bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms and direct access to the pool and gardens.

Cottage: Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Each with separate entrance.

Additional Costs & Information

  • Extra bed £84.00 per child per week (maximum 2).
  • 7 night minimum stay in July & August. 5 nights at other times.
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
