An adorable property right on the beach for the ultimate paradisiacal retreat
Bronte is a quaint stone house located just 30 metres from the sea on the western side of Crete. Originally used as a commercial station for transporting local produce such as olive oil, olives and salt, the stone building has been lovingly restored and converted into a comfortable holiday retreat with modern conveniences.
Raw materials like stone and wood combine with stylish, contemporary design to create an elegant and relaxing interior. The living area has sumptuous sofas facing huge windows that open out to the pool terrace. There is an open plan kitchen as well as a rather fabulous outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and alfresco dining furniture for meals with an uninterrupted ocean view.
The exterior is heavenly with a large swimming pool designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, including water lilies and bamboo to create this unique character. There is a star gazing roof terrace which is the perfect place to watch the sun set and the sky transform into a myriad of stars and constellations at night. There is also an outside chill-out area and sun loungers to completely relax and unwind in the sunshine.

Please note, there are some open steps to the roof terrace so may not be suitable for young children.
It is also worth noting that the approach to the villa is a maintained, but untarmacked, road.
Bronte is not too far from Nikos Beach House, making this an ideal choice for larger groups wanting to holiday together yet have their own private retreat.
