Villa Moon is a peaceful retreat, perched on a hill in Pinheiro, within the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. This eco-friendly home is surrounded by lush gardens and has wonderful views of Tavira Island.

The property is very unique and is adorned with art created by the original owner made from recycled beach materials like driftwood. The living area is an impressive space with high ceilings and an abundance of light. There is a delightful mezzanine level with football table and seating and this is the perfect place to relax and take in the views. There is also a sauna on this level with glass walls on three sides allowing views of the garden and sea.

The outside areas are teeming with wildlife. It is not unusual to see rabbits in the garden and guests might even get a rare sighting of a chameleon! There is a neighbouring farm which adds to the rural charm of the property. The garden has fruit trees including mangoes, passion fruit, oranges, lemons, almonds, apricots and figs and guests are welcome to pick their offerings to enhance meal times.

Powered by solar and photovaltic panels, this property is refreshingly eco-friendly combining sustainability with modern comforts.

Additional Costs & Information

  • Minimum age for the party leader is 30.
  • Discounts for longer stays of 2 weeks or more and winter bookings available. Please ask at time of enquiry.
  • Mininum stay 7 nights in Jul & August.
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount.  Balance due 8 weeks before departure.

Refundable security deposit - 2025 - £2000.00
