Reimagined in 2023 by visionary architects, this contemporary villa rises from the remains of an ancient stone ruin, seamlessly woven into the terraced slopes that define the Douro Valley. Every space has been designed to celebrate its setting: the living areas and all five ensuite bedrooms open onto private balconies, each framing uninterrupted vistas of the river below.
The rooftop is a destination in itself. Here, a striking infinity pool and fire-pit lounge invite long, sun-soaked afternoons, starlit swims, and unhurried evenings spent in good company. Indoors, moments of indulgence continue with a private jacuzzi and fully equipped gym, while modern comforts include air-conditioning, Smart TVs throughout, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Your arrival is marked with a chilled bottle of vinho verde from the estate’s own vineyard, and each morning begins with a generous buffet breakfast. A dedicated concierge is on hand to curate your stay, whether arranging a private chef, in-villa massages, yoga sessions, or bespoke experiences across the region. Guests staying one week or longer are treated to a welcome hamper of local delicacies, a bottle of fine port, and a complimentary winery visit with tasting.

Middle Level: Open plan living, dining room. Kitchen. Washroom. 3 bedrooms with king size bed and ensuite shower room. 2 double bedrooms (can be made up as twins by advance request) with ensuite shower rooms. All bedrooms have access to a shared balacony. Jacuzzi room.
Lower Level: Gym (equipped with spinning bike, treadmill, yoga mats & weights).
