Positioned within the prestigious Parque Atlântico area of Quinta do Lago, the villa enjoys a prime location close to the sea, and the breathtaking Ria Formosa nature reserve lies just 250 metres away. From here, scenic walking trails lead to the iconic bridge crossing the estuary and onward to miles of unspoilt golden beaches. The renowned San Lorenzo Golf Course and clubhouse are nearby, while lakeside dining at Casa do Lago and The Shack, along with the resort’s water-sports centre, are all within comfortable walking distance.
The interiors are particularly impressive and luxurious for a holiday rental. The villa’s grand entrance hall, crowned by a striking double-height ceiling, delivers an immediate sense of space and sophistication. The elegant lounge, with rich oak flooring, classical sofas and armchairs, and a stone and marble fireplace, opens directly onto the pool terrace through wide patio doors, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. A formal dining room just off the hallway features a statement table seating up to ten guests, and is ideal for memorable dinners
A beautifully appointed library doubles as the villa’s entertainment lounge, complete with a large Smart TV offering extensive channels and access to your favourite streaming services. Smart TVs are also provided in every bedroom and the kitchen.
The German-designed kitchen is both stylish and highly functional, centred around an island with integrated wine storage and a breakfast area seating six. Fully equipped for effortless catering, it is equipped with everything you will need to cater for your family, or indeed for a private chef to work their magic.
All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and include dressing tables, hairdryers and Smart TVs. The first-floor suites open onto private balconies, while the master suite enjoys access to an expansive terrace with loungers, a sunshade and a bar area, while a spiral staircase leads to the rooftop terrace where panoramic 360-degree views stretch from the mountains to the Atlantic Ocean.
The beautifully landscaped garden frames an inviting swimming pool, which may be heated on request, and features an electric cover to retain warmth overnight. The surrounding sun terrace is furnished with eight good quality sun loungers, deep cushions and generous parasols. In conclusion, my stay at this rental villa was an absolute dream come true. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating getaway. With its impeccable design, breathtaking views, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service, this villa surpassed all my expectations. It truly felt like a home away from home, and my only downside is that I didn’t book more than 7 days!!!
