Nestled in the peaceful hills of Orbacém, this beautifully restored house has been thoughtfully extended with a contemporary addition, creating a spacious and elegant villa designed to welcome larger groups in comfort and style.

Surrounded by mountain views and lush gardens, the villa offers 330 m² of refined living space and accommodates up to ten guests across five beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own ensuite shower room. It is an ideal retreat for families and friends seeking privacy, relaxation, and a connection with nature.

Despite its tranquil setting, the villa is perfectly located for exploring the northern Portuguese coast. The sandy beaches of Vila Praia de Âncora are just a ten-minute drive away, while the popular Modelo beach, along with the charming towns of Caminha and Viana do Castelo, can be reached in around fifteen minutes.

Inside, the villa has been designed to blend comfort with contemporary elegance. A bright open-plan living and dining area forms the heart of the home, beautifully decorated and opening directly onto the patio and pool terrace, allowing indoor and outdoor living to flow effortlessly together. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for preparing meals at home, while a welcoming dining area with seating for ten is perfect for long, relaxed dinners shared with family and friends. The villa does not have convensional air conditioning, but instead has a natural cooling system throughout. The original stone also keep the property cool in the summer, and cosy in the winter.

Outside, the villa reveals its true charm. The garden forms a private oasis, naturally shaded by olive, oak, and pine trees that create a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The terrace invites leisurely alfresco dining overlooking the swimming pool, while the barbecue is perfect for enjoying fresh local produce in the open air. Surrounded by greenery and mountain scenery, the private pool provides the perfect place to unwind, whether basking in the sun on warm afternoons or enjoying a refreshing swim after a day exploring the coast.

There are some unprotected drops in the garden area so we do not consider this house suitable for young children or those with limited mobility.

Navigating the city involves hills and uneven surfaces, which might pose difficulties for individuals with limited mobility or those pushing strollers. We recommend you wear comfortable footwear when exploring the city.”

  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
